Cassandra did an excellent job with the floral arrangements and overall decor for my daughter’s wedding at Gedney Farm last fall. We interviewed 3 floral designers in the area and felt that Cassandra captured our desires and understood Rachael’s personality the best. She was also very accessible to us which I greatly appreciated. We are from the Burlington, Vermont area and Rachael resides in the Hudson River Valley, NY area. Having Cassandra familiar with the venue was important to us, as well as being available by phone and email. She also was the most willing to meet us at the venue for consultations.
She took the large space of the Gedney Farm and made each of the levels wonderfully intimate and unique. Our guests were very impressed with the creative arrangements and table displays. The bridal party bouquets thrilled the young women. Her pricing was fair and she was willing to work with our budget, giving us a menu of options and choices to choose from. We gave her the freedom to choose what specific flowers were available and fresh at the time only asking for specific colors and flowers we did not want to include and suggestions of the ones we admired. We were not disappointed with any aspect of her work.Oh my god my tables were beautiful. And my memory table was just elegant and perfect. I loved everything!

Cassandra was wonderful! She really helped me pull together a timelessly beautiful flower vision. She helped me add certain elements to what I had in mind that I would never have come up with, but was also totally open to creating things that I found on Style me Pretty or Martha Stewart.
She is also very fair in price and I always felt like she was trying to save me money instead of the usual!
Also, my bouquet absolutely blew me away. All I said was “white flowers” and she took that and made the most beautiful, lush arrangement. Cassandra’s work is so elegant and she’s just a lovely person to know and work with. I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved the flowers and how EVERYONE talked about them!!! I’ve never heard anyone talk so much about flowers at a wedding!!! When I first walked into the ballroom and saw how beautiful they were I GASPED!!!! And everyone kept telling me how those were the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen. The arrangements were so phenomenal and elegant and they absolutely MADE THE ROOM! And the huppah (aka THE CANOPY) was gorgeous and tasteful.

If you have the opportunity to hire Cassandra for your special event, don’t hesitate. She is the ultimate professional and exceptionally creative and talented.In addition, she is a dream to work with. From the very beginning, she listened carefully to our daughter’s likes and dislikes and was very respectful of her ideas. At the same time, she did not hesitate to make suggestions and guide the bride while supporting and encouraging her. I particularly liked that Cassandra sought input from the groom and the mother of the bride (me) and was able to balance that input with the bride’s wishes. Cassandra worked with us for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding, each one having a totally different ambiance but both held at the same venue, a Victorian inn. The rehearsal dinner was a barbecue, which was held outside. She suggested and rented for us tables, chairs, and linens which supported the casual theme, as did the flowers. However, the wedding was the real stunner. She guided Jess and Aaron on how to make the beautiful parlor of the inn feel like they were welcoming people into their home and created floral arrangements to enhance that feeling. And people are still talking about the flowers at the ceremony and reception. They called them “stunning,” “magnificent,” and “spectacular.” When I look at pictures from that day, the flowers still take my breath away. My only regret is that we probably will not have another event that would give us the opportunity to work with Cassandra again. – Joanne P

Cassandra is the absolute best! We hired her as a wedding planning and florist for our daughter’s October, 2023 wedding and she was amazing! I am very particular in my tastes and Cassandra went above and beyond to make our event perfect! She carefully listened to my daughter and her fiance’s ideas about their entire wedding weekend at Seven Hills Inn in Lenox, MA and the results were beyond perfect! She organized all of the vendors, decorated the inn with impecable florals and lighting, and orchestrated the events of the weekend with charm and expertise. Cassandra is organized~ she worked closely with each vendor in the weeks before the wedding to confirm and schedule. She transformed the inn with gorgeous floral arrangements that surpassed our expectations. The dining room was jaw dropping! The bouquets were superb, and she even made a boutonniere for the 20 month old ring bearer! When the weather changed the plan for an outdoor ceremony, Cassandra made sure to create a beautiful indoor ceremony space and then immediately transformed it into a festive dance area with sofas and bistro tables. Cassandra was absolutely amazing to work with! Our wedding was approaching quickly and we had not secured a florist; some people quoted us outrageous prices while refusing to listen to our ideas. Cassandra, on the other hand, was reasonably priced, ESPECIALLY considering what she delivered–a full-blown enchanted forest!
